The Analyst - PMO Operations Analyst will support the execution of core workflows within the PMO, ensuring efficient project progression and stakeholder coordination. Responsibilities Support the execution of PMO workflows across intake, discovery, and SOW development to ensure work progresses efficiently and consistently Prepare discovery materials, including agendas, pre-reads, and supporting documentation, to enable effective stakeholder discussions Capture notes, action items, dependencies, and key decisions from discovery meetings, ensuring outputs are clearly documented and actionable Draft Statements of Work (SOWs) using standardized templates, incorporating stakeholder input and aligning on scope, timelines, and responsibilities Coordinate SOW review and approval processes, tracking outstanding signoffs and following up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion Maintain and update project information in workflow tools (e.g., Jira), ensuring required fields, metrics, and documentation are accurate and complete Support alignment across project tracking systems, reporting outputs, and documentation to ensure consistency and visibility Coordinate recurring PMO communications, including newsletters and DATS Portal updates, ensuring content is collected, formatted, and delivered on schedule Manage routine follow-ups, reminders, and outreach to ensure timely completion of PMO tasks and workflows Identify gaps or missing information in project inputs and escalate to PMO leadership for clarification and resolution Skills Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, economics, finance, operations, or a related field 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, operations, consulting, or a similar role (preferred) Exposure to meeting-based or stakeholder-facing environments Familiarity with financial services, private markets, or a professional services environment is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly capture and convey information in meetings and documentation Ability to listen actively, ask clarifying questions, and synthesize inputs from multiple stakeholders Strong organizational and task management skills, with the ability to track deliverables, dependencies, and follow-ups across multiple workstreams High attention to detail, particularly when working with structured templates, documentation, and project data Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain progress in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Comfort participating in professional discussions and group settings, with willingness to engage and build confidence over time Ability to follow defined processes while identifying gaps or inconsistencies and escalating as needed Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for tracking, documentation, and presentation of structured information Demonstrated accountability and follow-through on assigned tasks Ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes and apply them consistently in an evolving environment Demonstrates a growth-oriented mindset and openness to feedback Comfortable working in a developing and evolving team structure Shows initiative in identifying issues, asking questions, and seeking clarity Maintains a detail-oriented and process-driven approach to work Collaborative and responsive when working across teams and stakeholders Benefits Hybrid work arrangement (#LI-Hybrid) Multiple Employment Resource Groups Mentorship programs to enhance the employee experience Company Overview StepStone Group provides investors with customized portfolios that integrate primaries, secondaries, and co-investments.
