Role 2: Service Now Developer

Description

This role is responsible for building, configuring, and customizing workflows and applications across multiple ServiceNow product lines, including Clinical Device Management (CDM), IT Service Management (ITSM) Pro, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM). The developer will design and deliver scalable solutions on the Now Platform, build robust integrations with enterprise and third-party systems, and support the ongoing maturity of our ServiceNow ecosystem, including AI capabilities. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, cross-module experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into reliable, maintainable platform solutions.
Key Responsibilities
● Platform Development: Customize applications, build catalog items, and maintain reusable components.
● Module Management: Configure ITSM processes, maintain CMDB integrity, and support SPM and CDM workflows.
● Integrations: Develop REST/SOAP integrations and leverage IntegrationHub to connect enterprise systems.
● Scripting: Utilize JavaScript, Business Rules, and Flow Designer for automation.
● Governance: Enforce security best practices (ACLs) and compliance (e.g., HIPAA/FDA).

Advanced JavaScript proficiency (client/server-side).
● Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules (CDM, ITSM, CMDB, SPM).
● Expertise in integrations (REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub).
● Familiarity with healthcare standards (HL7/FHIR) is a plus.
● ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
Preferred Certifications:
● CIS/CAD preferred. ● ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in any of the following:

Description

The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in platform architecture, CMDB, and integration patterns, with the ability to translate complex business needs into robust, maintainable technical designs. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Design ● Define the end-to-end architecture for ServiceNow initiatives, ensuring solutions integrate cleanly with existing modules (ITSM, CMDB, CDM, SPM) and enterprise systems. ● Establish technical design patterns, guardrails, and solution standards to ensure platform scalability, upgradeability, and performance. ● Make critical design decisions regarding data models, security configurations, and platform governance.
