Together we’re building a company that will endure and products people will love for generations to come.
We believe that people do their best in a culture that fosters inclusion, innovation, and success. Our values - Champion the Customer, Take the Lead, Run Together, Ack + Own and Bring Yourself - serve as the foundation of our collaborative and dynamic culture.
Whether it’s conducting a retrospective, participating in our bi-annual hack weeks, cranking out a new product feature, supporting our two PagerDuty brands, or doing our day to day work, Dutonians live and breathe these five values every day. Together, we solve real customer issues and fulfill our mission of connecting teams to real-time opportunities and elevate work to the outcomes that matter.
We’re building an inclusive workplace that represents the real, everyday people we support around the world. From how we build our teams to who sits in the boardroom, we hope you can see yourself at PagerDuty.
Why We Need You
At PagerDuty, we believe that technology can transform how we work and how we do good. Our social impact function, PagerDuty.org, directs PagerDuty’s most important assets—our platform, funds, people, and voice—to support our customers and grantees in meeting urgent needs faster. We believe companies have a responsibility not just to shareholders, but to all stakeholders—employees, customers, investors, communities, and the environment. That’s why PagerDuty is formalizing an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) program.

This person will be responsible for monitoring the ESG landscape, evaluating how ESG trends and requirements will impact PagerDuty, and recommending and prioritizing key strategies, performance indicators, and programs to improve ESG and sustainability outcomes. The ESG & Sustainability Director will be both strategic and able to execute with independence, and will serve as the ESG reporting expert for the company. A key success factor for this role is interest and ability to bridge across industry sectors, cultures, and communities, and internally at PagerDuty, and to drive impact that is both integrated in and reflective of the business and the company’s holistic vision for social impact.
