Job Summary

United Airlines is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Administration: Process payroll on a timely and accurate basis, ensuring all employee information, deductions, and taxes are correctly applied.

  • Benefits Coordination: Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.

  • Employee Support: Serve as the main point of contact for employees seeking information and resolving inquiries related to payroll and benefits.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and benefits regulations. Stay up to date with any changes in payroll and benefits legislation.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and maintain accurate payroll and benefits reports, assisting with audits and ensuring timely and accurate filings.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations of payroll and benefits processes.

  • System Maintenance: Maintain the payroll and benefits system, ensuring employee records are up to date and all data is accurately reflected.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

  • Proven experience working in payroll and benefits administration, ideally within a corporate environment.

  • Strong understanding of payroll software and HRIS systems (experience with ADP, Workday, or similar systems is a plus).

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of payroll and benefits management.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex payroll and benefits information to employees.

Working Hours
