Job Description

ByteDance is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Weekend Remote TikTok Moderator to join our Trust & Safety team. This is a part-time, 100% remote position focused on ensuring a positive and safe user experience on TikTok during weekend hours. As a moderator, you will play a crucial role in reviewing user-generated content, enforcing community guidelines, and contributing to a healthy online environment for millions of users worldwide. Key Responsibilities

  • Review user-generated content (videos, comments, live streams) on TikTok to ensure compliance with community guidelines and terms of service.
  • Identify and take appropriate action on content that violates policies, including but not limited to hate speech, harassment, misinformation, and explicit material.
  • Accurately categorize and tag content for further review or resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Trust & Safety team to address emerging content trends and policy updates.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and quality while working remotely during weekend shifts.
  • Provide clear and concise reports on content moderation activities and policy breaches.
