Apply via Dice today!<br><br>Job Title<br><br>SAP Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant – S/4HANA Transformation<br><br><strong>Overview / Summary<br><br></strong>HTC is seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant to support a global SAP S/4HANA transformation program. This role focuses on master data governance, data migration, data quality, and business process harmonization activities as part of an SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA implementation. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, data owners, and implementation partners to ensure high-quality master data and successful delivery of the transformation program.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Lead master data workstreams during SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.</li><li> Drive data governance, data quality, and master data standardization initiatives.</li><li> Analyze legacy ECC master data structures and support migration to SAP S/4HANA.</li><li> Support Business Partner (BP) conversion and harmonization activities.</li><li> Define and execute data cleansing, enrichment, validation, and reconciliation activities.</li><li> Develop data mapping and transformation specifications across multiple master data domains.</li><li> Coordinate migration cycles, mock loads, cutover activities, and post-go-live support.</li><li> Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and governance processes.</li><li> Support SIT, UAT, dress rehearsals, and production cutover activities.</li><li> Identify data-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies.</li><li> Prepare governance documentation, process flows, and training materials.</li><li> Work closely with SAP functional teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> 8–10 years of SAP experience with a strong focus on Master Data Management.</li><li> Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration project.</li><li> Strong understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA master data architecture.</li><li> Hands-on experience with:</li><li>Business Partner (Customer/Vendor Integration)</li><li>Material Master</li><li>Customer Master</li><li>Vendor Master</li><li>Finance Master Data</li><li>Manufacturing Master Data</li><li> Experience in data migration, data cleansing, data validation, and reconciliation activities.</li><li> Strong understanding of data governance principles and operating models.</li><li> Experience with SAP MDG, SAP Migration Cockpit, and SAP Data Services (BODS).</li><li> Working experience with data migration tools such as Syniti, Informatica, and/or Winshuttle.</li><li> SAP MDG implementation experience.</li><li> Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.</li><li> Ability to work in global, cross-functional, and matrixed environments.</li><li> Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Experience in Consumer Products, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain industries.</li><li> Prior experience in business separation, carve-out, merger, or divestiture programs.</li><li> Experience establishing enterprise-wide data governance frameworks.</li><li> SAP Certification in S/4HANA and/or SAP MDG.</li></ul>
