Come and be part of our growing team!"<br> Phoenix Support Services is seeking for an experienced and creative video editor to join our team! You will be responsible for creating short promo videos using a software drag and drop platform.<br> The Video Editor works as part of the Web Development Team and reports to the Team Manager. His specific tasks are as follows:<br> <ul> <li><p>Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials;<br></p></li> <li><p>Create these materials by hand or by using technology, including computer software programs.<br></p></li> <li><p>Meet with web designers to gain an understanding of what they want their proposed web pages to look like. Create or incorporate illustrations, videos, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications;<br></p></li> <li><p>Produce drafts for review by clients and make revisions based on the feedback received;<br></p></li> <li><p>Review final productions for errors and ensure that final layouts reflect client specifications. Study design briefs and determine requirements;<br></p></li> <li><p>Conceptualize visuals based on requirements;<br></p></li> <li><p>Prepare rough drafts and present ideas;<br></p></li> <li><p>Use the appropriate colors and layouts for videos;<br></p></li> <li><p>Work with copywriters and creative director to produce the final design;<br></p></li> <li><p>Amend designs after feedback;<br></p></li> <li><p>Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand;<br></p></li> <li><p>Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training and other enterprise-wide projects; script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources and select optimal forms of media for projects;<br></p></li> <li><p>Work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables;<br></p></li> <li><p>Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media.<br></p></li> </ul> <br> <br> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul> <li><p>3 years of experience as a graphics designer or in a similar role.<br></p></li> <li><p>Mastery of graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro, etc.<br></p></li> <li><p>Knowledge of video and audio editing software programs a big plus.<br></p></li> <li><p>Solid knowledge of design and visual principles.<br></p></li> <li><p>Demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design, and software skills.<br></p></li> <li><p>Ability to evaluate choices critically, with the customer's needs in mind.<br></p></li> <li><p>Ability to communicate design choices clearly.<br></p></li> <li><p>Ability to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvements.<br></p></li> <li><p>Good time-management skills.<br></p></li> <li><p>Great interpersonal and communication skills.<br></p></li> <li><p>Great multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure.<br></p></li> <li><p>General understanding of computers and digital equipment and knowledge of new and cutting-edge technology.<br></p></li> </ul> <br> <br> <br> <h3>Benefits</h3> <p>What Makes Support Phoenix Services Great<br></p> <p>We are not here today without our exceptional employees.
