The ideal candidate will have proven project execution experience in the public safety industry with SaaS.</div> <div>This role requires expertise in developing project artifacts, including but not limited to schedule of values, RFIs (Requests for Information), and coordination plans. Success in this role demands a high degree of organization, leadership, and adaptability, particularly when engaging with multiple contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.</div> <div> </div> <div>If you are a Project Manager who thrives in commercial construction settings, values structured project execution, and is looking for an opportunity within a PMO focused on continuous improvement and professional development, we encourage you to apply.</div> <div><br> <b>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</b></div> <ul> <li>Own and drive assigned projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring alignment with budget, scope, and schedule.</li> <li>Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedule of values, RFIs, general schedules, and deployment plans to ensure efficient execution.</li> <li>Coordinate with internal resources, partners, and client stakeholders to align schedules with technology installation requirements.</li> <li>Lead cross-functional project teams</li> <li>Manage change requests, unforeseen conditions, and evolving client needs while maintaining project alignment.</li> <li>Drive compliance with regulatory requirements</li> <li>Proactively assess and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth execution of technology deployments.</li> <li>Support the PMO's growth and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the standardization and enhancement of project management processes.</li> <li>Ensure quality control by conducting on-site project reviews and collaborating with field teams.</li> </ul> <div><br> <b>Qualifications, Education and Experience:</b></div> <ul> <li>5-7+ years of experience leading large complex projects</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent project management experience required. Advanced degree preferred.</li> <li>Experience in public safety, SaaS, and technology change</li> <li>Familiarity with project artifacts such as schedule of values, RFIs, and change orders</li> <li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.</li> <li>Experience using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or other auto-calculating scheduling tools.</li> <li>Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, CTS-D, CTS-I, or similar) is a plus.</li> <li>Strong technical writing and presentation skills, with a focus on documentation and reporting.</li> <li>Knowledge of the public safety industry including CAD and RMS</li> </ul> <div><b>Key Competencies/Behaviors</b></div> <ul> <li>Ability to take ownership of tasks directly and delegate when needed</li> <li>Initiative, ensures installation teams meet or exceed high quality standards</li> <li>Team oriented, works well with others</li> <li>Customer centric</li> <li>Trustworthy, acts with integrity</li> <li>Planning and organizational skills</li> <li>Adaptability and stress tolerance - Must be able to shift gears and support several roles (examples: project planner, scheduler, support, testing, security, engineering)</li> </ul> <div><br> <b>Screening Requirements:</b> Background Check, Drug Testing, Preferred US Citizen capable of obtaining security clearance<br> <br> <b>Physical Environment:</b> Work is somewhat sedentary in nature but will require standing and walking for up to 25% of the time.
