This role manages supplier relationships, leads competitive bidding processes, negotiates contracts, and drives continuous improvement in procurement operations to support organizational objectives.<br> </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p>The Sourcing Manager develops and implements category-specific sourcing strategies aligned with business needs and budget objectives. They identify cost savings opportunities through market analysis, supplier consolidation, and process improvements. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive supplier evaluations and competitive bid processes, including RFx (RFP, RFQ, RFI) development and management. The role involves negotiating terms, pricing, and service level agreements with suppliers to achieve optimal value and risk mitigation.<br> </p><p>The position manages supplier relationships throughout the contract lifecycle, monitoring performance against established KPIs and addressing performance issues or service gaps. The Sourcing Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders including operations, finance, legal, and business unit leaders to understand requirements and align procurement activities with organizational goals.<br><br>They ensure compliance with procurement policies, contract terms, and applicable regulations while maintaining appropriate documentation and audit trails.</p><p>Additional responsibilities include analyzing spend data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, leading cross-functional sourcing teams for complex initiatives, and developing supplier scorecards and performance metrics. The role also involves staying current on market conditions, pricing trends, and industry best practices to inform sourcing decisions.<br> </p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or related field.</li><li>The position requires 5-7 years of progressive procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in facilities management, real estate, professional services, or related industries.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated success achieving cost savings and favorable contract terms are essential.</li><li>Proven experience managing strategic supplier relationships and conducting competitive sourcing processes is required.<br> </li><li>The role demands excellent analytical skills with proficiency in spend analysis and data-driven decision making.</li><li>Strong project management capabilities including managing multiple concurrent initiatives are necessary.</li><li>Proficiency with procurement systems, contract management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is expected.</li><li>Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills are critical, along with understanding of contract law, risk management, and procurement best practices.<br> </li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Preferred qualifications include professional certifications such as CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager), CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional).</li><li>Experience with e-procurement platforms and sourcing tools is beneficial, as is knowledge of sustainability and responsible sourcing practices.</li><li>Experience in global or multi-regional sourcing environments and familiarity with facilities management, real estate services, or corporate services procurement are valued.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Key Competencies</b></p><p>Success requires strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities, commercial acumen and financial literacy, strong negotiation and influencing skills, and relationship building across diverse stakeholder groups.
