You will be responsible for designing and managing the delivery of Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions. You will work closely with our client team, Astounds senior team members and other discipline leads to ensure project success and the development of technical capabilities within the team.</p> <p><strong>In this role you will be responsible for:</strong></p> <h4><strong>SFCC Solutions & Architecture</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC B2C) solutions</li> <li>Define technical architecture, solution designs, performance optimization, coding standards, and development guidelines for SFCC projects</li> <li>Conduct technical feasibility analysis for current and future product backlog , ensuring alignment with capacity and project scope</li> </ul> <p><strong>Back-End Development & Troubleshooting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain custom server-side logic using controllers, pipelines, jobs, and scripts</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex code-level issues and Business Manager challenges in lower and production environments</li> <li>Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and performance tuning for optimal system behavior</li> </ul> <p><strong>Configuration & Data Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and troubleshoot configuration-related incidents involving product catalogs, pricing, inventory, and promotional rules</li> <li>Ensure data integrity and stability across SFCC Business Manager and related backend systems</li> </ul> <p><strong>Third-Party Integrations & API Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the resolution of integration failures with external systems including OMS, payment gateways, reservation systems, and Bazaarvoice</li> <li>Develop, Leverage and troubleshoot OCAPI/SCAPI implementations for seamless system interoperability</li> </ul> <p><strong>Code Quality & Release Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct detailed code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure adherence to SFCC development standards</li> <li>Manage releases and contribute to efficient release cycles in collaboration with DevOps and QA teams</li> <li>Support CI/CD workflows and source control processes</li> </ul> <p><strong>Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Liaise with Salesforce support and third-party vendors to troubleshoot escalated issues</li> <li>Communicate technical insights and solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>Team Mentorship & Leadership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented technical team</li> <li>Provide technical guidance and support across project workstreams, contributing to overall delivery excellence</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your skills and qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) with 2 full cycle implementations of SFCC.</li> <li>Advanced hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC B2C), including server-side development (controllers, jobs, pipelines)</li> <li>Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node-style), ISML, and debugging complex back-end code and Business Manager issues</li> <li>Proven expertise in managing product, inventory, pricing, and promotion configurations within SFCC</li> <li>Deep understanding of OCAPI/SCAPI APIs and resolving integration failures with external systems (e.g., OMS, payment gateways, Bazaarvoice)</li> <li>Experience with technical solutioning, enhancement implementation</li> <li>Skilled in performance tuning, root cause analysis (RCA), code reviews, and deploying hotfixes in agile environments</li> </ul> <p><strong>Good to have</strong><strong> </strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Headless Commerce architecture (e.g., using SFCC with React, Vue, or other front-end frameworks)</li> <li>Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines</li> <li>Experience with external CDN routing</li> <li>Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud PIG (Primary Instance Group) environments</li> <li>Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in sprint planning, retrospectives, and grooming sessions</li> <li>Hands-on experience with data modeling and managing large product catalogs</li> <li>Experience working in a multi-region or global eCommerce environment</li> <li>Certifications such as Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer or Salesforce B2C Architect</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer in return</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work with people around the globe</li> <li><strong>Off-the-Charts Career Growth:</strong> Сlear career path and a performance review system, career coaching, training and certifications, mentoring and knowledge sharing.</li> <li><strong>Well-being Is Top Priority:</strong> Parental leave, paid time off, comprehensive health and medical plans.</li> <li><strong>Real Work-Life Balance:</strong> Remote, in-office, or hybrid working modes;
