We are partnering with a growing ecommerce organization to hire a Senior Shopify Developer who will play a key role in shaping, enhancing, and maintaining high-performing storefront experiences across both D2C and B2B channels. This is a great opportunity for a developer who thrives at the intersection of technology, brand experience, and growth enablement. You will work closely with marketing, creative, and engineering teams to build conversion-focused experiences, support campaign launches, and evolve a modern, serverless-first Shopify ecosystem. What You Will Do Shopify Storefront Development • Develop, enhance, and optimize Shopify storefronts in a Theme 2.0 environment • Build modular components, sections, and reusable UI features using Liquid, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS • Implement UX improvements and campaign-driven updates in collaboration with marketing and brand teams Platform and App Ecosystem • Work across Shopify APIs (Admin, Storefront, GraphQL and REST) with a deep understanding of capabilities and constraints • Build and maintain custom Shopify extensions, Functions, or private apps when needed • Evaluate when to configure existing apps vs. when to build from scratch for scalability Integrations and Architecture • Support and enhance integrations between Shopify and core business systems such as ERP, PIM, CRM, and data platforms • Contribute to backend extension layers using serverless services in AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS) • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to storefront experience, stability, and data flow Conversion and Experimentation • Partner with marketing to build and execute A/B and multivariate tests in Shopify • Ensure proper configuration and flow of tracking and analytics events to GA4 and related platforms • Assist with CRO initiatives that improve engagement, speed, and overall conversion health Who Will Thrive Here • You have 5+ years of professional web development, including at least 3+ years working deeply with Shopify • You are fluent in Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern build pipelines • You have hands-on experience with Shopify Theme 2.0, app blocks, metafields, and dynamic content structures • You understand how to build and scale Shopify B2C and B2B experiences • You are comfortable working with serverless AWS tools or are excited to deepen your skill set here • You collaborate naturally with creative and marketing stakeholders, not just engineering teams • You enjoy fast iteration cycles and ownership over your work Bonus Experience (Not required, but great to have) • Shopify Functions and Checkout UI extensions • Acumatica, Salsify, Klaviyo, Yotpo, Databricks • CRO tools such as Shoplift, Visually, or similar • AI-assisted development workflows (GitHub Copilot, etc.) Why This Role Is Exciting • High visibility and ownership across the full commerce stack • Direct impact on customer experience, brand presentation, and business growth • A collaborative environment where experimentation and new ideas are encouraged • Opportunity to work across both marketing initiatives and technical platform evolution Ready to Apply?
