This role provides advanced technical expertise, leads complex benefits and leave initiatives, and partners with the Compensation & Benefits Manager to promote consistent, high-quality service across the team. While this position does not directly supervise staff, it serves as a trusted resource and helps drive continuous improvement in team processes and service delivery.</span></p><p><span style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1)">In this role, you will help oversee the administration of the City's self-funded benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive, compliant, and fiscally responsible. See the full potential of growth for this position here:</span><strong> </strong><a href="https://coloradosprings.gov/document/2026-salary-schedule.pdf-0" target="_blank"><strong>2026 Salary Schedule</strong></a></p><span style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1)"><strong>As a Sr. HR Analyst-Benefits, you will:</strong></span><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1)">Partner with the Compensation & Benefits Manager to administer the City's employee benefits, wellness, and retiree programs while ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations.</li><li style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1)">Serve as the subject matter expert for leave administration, providing guidance on complex cases FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), HFWA (Healthy Families and Workplaces Act), disability programs, disability retirement, and USERRA (Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act), and other protected leave programs.</li><li style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1)">Assist in leading the City’s ADA Title I accommodation program.
