About the team What you’ll do We're seeking a technically proficient and data-savvy Compliance Data Analyst to join our Risk & Controls Oversight function at Stripe. As part of the Risk & Control Health team, you'll be responsible for conducting technical assessments of our risk and control environment, developing data-driven insights, and creating dynamic dashboards to represent our risk and control health. This role is critical in ensuring Stripe maintains robust risk management and compliance through data-backed analysis and continuous improvement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical skills in data analysis and alongside subject matter expertise in risk and compliance to drive impactful improvements in Stripe's risk and control environment. You'll play a crucial role in enhancing our ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the organization. We are open to applicants in the US, UK, and Canada. Responsibilities Risk and Control Health Analysis: • Produce comprehensive risk assessments and control health analyses by compiling data at the macro level and digging into code bases to understand individual controls • Aggregate and monitor testing results to identify trends and patterns in risk and control effectiveness • Use overarching assessments to guide deeper investigations into individual controls, creating a continuous feedback loop for improvement Technical Control Assessment and Testing: • Conduct rigorous technical testing of individual controls, leveraging your expertise in data analysis • Identify compliance control deficiencies, assess their impact and draw appropriate conclusions • Leverage emerging technologies to facilitate speed, dynamism, and accuracy in risk and control testing and assessments Reporting and Communication: • Deliver reporting on test outputs to key compliance and cross-functional stakeholders • Clearly communicate complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences • Contribute to Top Risk Reporting, providing data-driven insights on critical risk areas Continuous Improvement: • Stay informed about emerging technologies and methodologies in risk assessment and data analysis • Stay up to date with Stripe’s product and business expansion in order to update data, dashboards, and control assessments in line with these changes Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. Minimum requirements • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, or a related field, preferably in the fintech or financial services sector • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in data analysis, SQL, and comfort working with LLM and AI technologies • Experience in designing and developing metrics that effectively communicate risk and control narratives, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization • Experience with data visualization tools and creating dashboards • Solid understanding of risk management principles, control frameworks, and compliance areas • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data analysis and reporting • Effective communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Apply To this Job Company : Stripe Salary : Work from home
