The total rewards package for this role includes a competitive salary.   Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, accounts receivable, reconciling financial transactions and managing bank and processing. Duties: Perform all aspects of bookkeeping and payroll, including but not limited to: • Reviewing and clearing bank feeds • Researching transactions for accuracy • Conducting monthly bank, credit card and loan reconciliations • Proper vendor assignment and categorization of transactions • Maintain vendor files by requesting and processing COI and W-9 forms • Manage CanAM admin inbox and respond to inquiries as needed • Proper vendor assignment and categorization of transactions. • Must be willing to sign a confidentiality and non-solicitation agreement • Expect 10 - 15 hours per week with the opportunity to grow* Skills: • Detail oriented, organized, and capable of producing work with a high level of... accuracy • Ambitious, self motivated, problem solver and a self learner, but is not afraid to ask questions • Flexible with shifting priorities and managing time. Asana, Keeper and Scribe experience is PREFERRED but not required Starting pay is $15.00 per hour. Higher wage will be considered based on experience.
