Job Summary

Walgreens, a leading pharmacy and healthcare retailer, is seeking a highly motivated Remote Customer Care Specialist to join our Pharmacy Support team. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to our customers by addressing inquiries related to prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and pharmacy services. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding prescriptions, pharmacy services, and general healthcare questions via phone, email, and chat.

  • Provide accurate information on medication use, dosage instructions, refill processes, and Walgreens pharmacy programs.

  • Assist customers with navigating online pharmacy services, including prescription transfers and refill requests.

  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues to appropriate pharmacy or management personnel while maintaining accountability.

  • Document customer interactions accurately in company systems, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with pharmacists and internal teams to resolve customer concerns efficiently.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer support experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree preferred.

  • Previous customer service or call center experience, preferably in healthcare, pharmacy, or retail settings.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficiency with computer systems, online platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards is a plus.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or pharmacy support roles.
