The Technical Consultant role involves maximizing client value from monday.com and Atlassian products through discovery, solution design, implementation, and client engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Lead early-stage discovery workshops to surface client needs, pain points, and process gaps across monday.com and Atlassian environments
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and requirements analysis to define clear, actionable problem statements
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to design creative, scalable solutions - recommending the right platform for the right use case
  • Help clients make informed build vs. configure vs. integrate decisions based on their specific constraints and maturity
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing, methodology development, and delivery improvement initiatives
  • Configure and implement monday.com solutions including boards, workflows, automations, dashboards, and integrations across monday Work Management, monday CRM, monday Dev, and monday Service
  • Deliver Atlassian implementations including installations, upgrades, migrations, and custom configuration for Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and associated tools
  • Build low/no-code integrations using IPaaS platforms such as Make.com and Zapier; develop scripted solutions using Groovy, Python, or REST APIs where appropriate
  • Apply change management practices to help clients adopt new workflows, govern their platforms effectively, and sustain improvements over time
  • Create measurable outcome frameworks so clients can track the before-and-after impact of implemented solutions
  • Produce thorough engagement documentation including solution design records, findings reports, and handoff materials
  • Provide training and enablement to stakeholders and end users across both platforms
  • Perform database administration, system administration (Linux/Windows), and application server configuration as needed for Atlassian environments
  • Engage early in the sales cycle to understand client challenges and shape solution approaches across monday.com and Atlassian offerings
  • Contribute to scoping, effort estimation, and proposal development for both platforms
  • Deliver compelling platform demos tailored to the stakeholder audience - from end users to executive sponsors
  • Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact on active engagements, maintaining professional and efficient communication throughout
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and deliverables with strong personal organization and prioritization

Skills

  • Hands-on experience delivering monday.com professional services engagements for mid-market to enterprise clients
  • Working knowledge of the Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) in a consulting or technical delivery capacity
  • Experience with system integration and process automation using IPaaS tools (Make.com, Zapier) and/or REST APIs
  • Scripting experience in at least one language such as Groovy or Python
  • Familiarity with Agile, ITSM, ESM, and other enterprise IT practices
  • Experience managing change within a technical environment
  • Strong written and spoken English; proven ability to translate technical detail for non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated experience presenting solutions and managing client relationships directly
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a personal workload across multiple active engagements
  • Existing monday.com certifications
  • Self-starting, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced remote environment
  • Experience with system administration (Linux/Windows) and database administration in the context of Atlassian environments
  • Readiness to specialize in one or more monday.com product lines - monday CRM, monday Dev, or monday Service
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Marketplace apps, plugin configuration, and scripting frameworks
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud and on-prem IT environments, and non-functional requirements (scalability, availability, security)
  • Experience contributing to technical proposals, SOWs, or consulting engagement reports
  • Familiarity with knowledge management platforms such as Confluence, Notion, or Coda; openness to adopting AI-driven workflow tools as the ecosystem evolves
  • Experience within a fast-paced professional services or consulting environment
