Job Details<br><br><strong>Description<br><br></strong><strong>Summary:<br><br></strong>Performs designated routine tasks related to the operation of the Rehab Clinic department including pre and post-care treatment cleaning functions, supply inventory and environment of care processes.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Completes registration process for outpatients. Coordinates registration process with the Patient Access team.</li><li>Verifies payer for new and recurring therapy outpatients.</li><li>Schedules patients for appointments. Performs appointment reminders routinely.</li><li>Ensures full patient schedule capacity for each therapist.</li><li>Collaborates with the Referral Coordinator in ensuring active authorization for the therapy services when scheduling for outpatient appointments.</li><li>Performs front desk functions: greets patients, checks attendance and answers phone. Communicates with therapist re: patient’s attendance status.</li><li>Prepares, maintains and cleans treatment areas and equipment when able to assist.</li><li>Performs regular (weekly) inventory and ordering of supplies.</li><li>Follows procedures for proper care of equipment and supplies.</li><li>Performs general office and clerical procedures including filing, copying, faxing, scanning, and record keeping.</li><li>Ensures the EOC compliance (hot pack and cold pack unit cleaning, temperature checks, cleanliness, equipment safety) of the PT department.</li><li>Cooperates with all staff in carrying out responsibilities.</li><li>Performs critical thinking and problem resolution process with the team necessary to effectively manage the front-line customer issues and related care provision processes.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum High School/GED, Associates degree preferred</li><li>Minimum 3 – 5 ears of related experience</li><li>Experience with Meditech or EMR, Outlook, Appointment scheduling and Microsoft office is highly desirable</li><li>Bilingual Spanish-speaking Strongly Preferred<br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits<br><br></strong>Humboldt Park Health offers competitive benefits that vary based on your position, job status and scheduled hours/FTE<br><br><strong>Compensation<br><br></strong>Pay or shift range: $18 USD per hour
