This opportunity will remain online based on business needs which may be before or after the specified date.</em></p><p><strong>Role Description</strong></p><p>The PgM OSP Lead will manage a team of program managers to ensure schedules are met and critical projects are delivered. These projects will span engineering, operations, construction, budgets, forecasting and planning. The PgM Lead is tasked with ensuring the team executes against strategic priorities set by leadership. The ideal candidate mixes tenacity, organizational skills, strong communication and leadership. This role requires prioritizing tasks, managing a complex schedule, ensuring deliverables are met across multiple work streams and being an effective cross functional leader. The PgM Lead works across the organization to refine and evolve our projects, as well as deploy new technologies to markets and communities throughout the region.</p><p><strong>In this role, you'll:</strong></p><ul><li>Management functions within the metro to include aspects of project initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing.</li><li>Operate across internal GFiber groups and external organizations to ready and implement operational processes.</li><li>Lead process improvements that result in efficiency and efficacy gains throughout deployment and operations in the market.</li><li>Execute multiple projects/programs/planning in support of regional long term success</li><li>Manage full time employees and delivery of projects through strategic partners/vendors.</li></ul><p><strong>At a minimum we'd like you to have:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Telecommunications, a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.</li><li>10 years of leadership experience in Telecommunications, Consulting, Oil and Gas or other capital project related industries. </li><li>5 years of people (direct report responsibilities for FTEs, performance evaluations, career management, etc) and/or vendor management (RFx, contract negotiations, scope management, etc).</li><li>An established track record and experience in successfully managing a complex schedule with a diverse vendor base, leading annual planning cycles, developing and managing contracts, invoicing, budgeting, forecasting, project reporting (costs, status and risks), procurement and negotiating with vendors.</li></ul><p><strong>It's preferred if you have:</strong></p><ul><li>PMP certification, MBA, or other advanced degree.</li><li>5 years of experience with fiber network deployments, including experience with constructing new outside and inside plant fiber infrastructure, and 5 years of experience with FTTH infrastructure.</li><li>Familiar with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and database management including AutoCAD, ESRI, and/or shape file functionality.</li><li>Knowledge of network drawings, route maps and scopes of work and interpreting fiber test results and auditing projects for compliance with scopes of work.</li><li>Experience in operational improvement and process/workflow development.</li><li>Excellent analytical, financial skills and communication skills.</li></ul><p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $154,000 - $169,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits.
