Overview

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is recruiting fellowship trained radiologists to join the current 21-member Division of Emergency Radiology covering overnight radiology for the large health care system’s tertiary hospitals and expanding community hospital network. This is a full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.

NEW COMPENSATION STRUCTURE: High base salary based on individual productivity ranging from $450,000-$750,000 with quarterly productivity incentives. Abundant internal moonlighting opportunities are also readily available.

  • 7 nights on/14 days off.
  • Manageable 9-hour shifts.
  • Work remotely at home; in-state or out-of-state.
  • Philips VuePACS/PS360/EPIC/AiDOC/RAPID. 24/7 IT tech support.
  • 1.0 FTE with full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, wellness, program, 401k with employer contribution of up to 9%, 457b plan option.
  • Primary responsibilities include covering CT, US, and occasional MR from the emergency department and STAT inpatients for both tertiary and community sites. 4 residents on per night assisting in coverage of tertiary sites. Minimal plain film responsibility.
  • Strong leadership and collegial environment with emphasis on teamwork in a large group setting with fellowship trained colleagues in multiple subspecialities.
