JOB TITLE: Manager of Cleaning Services
CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non-Exempt
PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT: Intandem Solutions
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Cleaning Service Operations and Development

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the cleaning services department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines along with assuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing staff. Works in conjunction with the Director of Cleaning Service Operations and Development in managing budgets of all cleaning contracts including documenting expenses. Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of equipment as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Education, Training & Experience:
Associates degree in Business or related
Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
Two (2) years commercial cleaning experience
Two (2) years customer service
Two (2) years management/supervisory experience

Preferred Education, Training & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business or related
Four (4) years commercial cleaning experience
Three (3) years customer service
Four (4) years management/supervisory experience
One (1) year working with people with developmental disabilities

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Familiarity with basic computer applications (word, excel, e-mail, etc)
Valid New York State driver’s license that meets the Agency’s driving policy
Ability to work cooperatively with staff, affirmative business employees and other contacts
Ability to react appropriately to emergency and other unusual situations
Ability to manage multiple program responsibilities
Ability to perform physical demands of job

SALARY:
$25-$31 per hour starting rate based on experience
