Job Summary

United Airlines is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Data & Analytics Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this remote position, you will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and providing actionable insights from HR data to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to leverage data in optimizing our HR practices, improving employee engagement, and enhancing organizational performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data, including recruitment, retention, employee engagement, turnover, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights.

  • Dashboard & Reporting Tools: Develop and maintain HR analytics dashboards and reports for senior leadership, using data visualization tools and HR analytics software.

  • Strategic Insights: Collaborate with HR business partners and other departments to deliver strategic insights that influence HR strategies, policies, and workforce planning.

  • Trend Identification: Identify trends in employee behavior, performance, and organizational effectiveness to recommend improvements in HR programs and processes.

  • Data Integrity & Quality: Ensure the integrity and quality of HR data, conduct regular audits, and collaborate with HRIS teams to troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies.

  • Process Improvement: Assist in the design and implementation of HR data processes to enhance operational efficiency and streamline HR workflows.

  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and confidentiality agreements in handling HR data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in HR Analytics Tools: Strong experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Project Management Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR data analysis, HR analytics, or a similar role, preferably in a large, fast-paced organization.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in data analysis software (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and familiarity with HRIS systems.

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in HR operations within the airline or aviation industry is a plus but not required.

Working Hours

  • This is a remote position with flexible working hours.

  • Standard hours are 9 AM – 5 PM, Monday to Friday, but flexibility may be offered depending on the candidates time zone.
