Our part-time Virtual Pharmacy Technician will share their unique skills and gifts through empathetic listening and team collaboration to provide superior service to our patients that produces exceptional outcomes and restores wellbeing. You will help us grow and deepen the connection we have internally, with our patients and our community through emotionally engaging customer service using our Neighborhood Pharmacy high standard of excellence model.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, with experience in medication synchronization and E-script processing preferred.

Requirements

  • You possess strong communications, reasoning, organizational and leadership skills as well as a strong customer service orientation with high regard for excellence.
  • You are a positive, highly motivated self-starter and a quick learner and thrive in semi-autonomous structures.
  • You have working knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards as well as pharmacy laws and regulations in the pharmacy setting to ensure compliance and ability to use good judgment and discernment.
  • You seek opportunities to learn and grow and showcase our health and wellness impacts through community outreach.
  • Maintain Continuing Education (CE) requirements to maintain licensure to include any territory. Specific topics that are required for licensure.
  • Proficient in general computer, Electronic Medical Records Systems (Pioneer Rx experience preferred), Point of Sale Systems, Microsoft Office, Adobe DC, Google Workspaces, HRIS, web-based technologies, HIPAA, and OSHA.
  • This remote position requires a dedicated and secure home office setup with a computer and reliable internet connection. Adherence to privacy and security guidelines (HIPAA) is essential to protect patient information.
