Food Grade Bulk Flour Trailer Pre-loader (Part-Time)

Class A CDL Required. Home Daily!

$35.00/hour for Saturday and Sunday. $25.00/hour for weekday work.

Foodliner, Inc., one of the largest food grade bulk carriers in the U.S., is looking for a motivated individual to assist in spotting pneumatic trailers and dry van trailers at our customer in Buffalo, NY.

This job involves spotting, pre-loading, dropping, and hooking food-grade dry bulk pneumatic trailers. You will be moving several trailers per shift from our drop lot to the f mill, loading them, and dropping them back at our drop lot. You may also move trailers to a maintenance shop and the tank wash as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Spotting pneumatic bulk trailers and spotting dry van trailers in warehouse doors
  • Complete a daily yard check and keep an inventory of trailer pool
  • Daily communication with mill personnel
  • Follow SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and company guidelines
  • Maintain housekeeping and organization of the yard
  • Support Terminal Manager in any operations as needed

Benefits:

  • $35.00/hour for Saturday and Sunday. $25.00/hour for weekday work.
  • Shift is Saturday and Sunday 4:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • Weekly paychecks
  • Paid orientation and training

Basic Qualifications:

  • Class A CDL required
  • Good MVR and safe driving record required
  • Pass background check, DOT physical, and drug screen
  • Flexible schedule
