This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding revenue through outbound and inbound sales efforts. You will play a key role in accelerating market expansion and strengthening EverCommerce’s position within our verticals.</p><p></p><p>As a Business Development Manager — You will own prospecting and lead generation. You’ll collaborate with Sales Executive, cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximize customer value.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Responsibilities:</span></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, and partnerships</li><li>Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients</li><li>Conduct product presentations, demos, and negotiations with key decision-makers</li><li>Manage the pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting</li><li>Collaborate with marketing to align on campaigns, messaging, and lead generation strategies</li><li>Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform growth strategies</li><li>Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term customer success</li><li>Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows as needed</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>3–7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in SaaS or technology)</li><li>Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets</li><li>Strong prospecting and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively</li><li>Experience managing lead generation to demo</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills</li><li>Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment</li><li>Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)</li><li>Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required)</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Where:</span></b><br><span>The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia.
