Maintains records and compiles reports of inspection activities.</i></li><li><i style="color: inherit; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">When warranted, represents County in court to testify regarding electrical installations.</i></li><li><i style="color: inherit; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">Investigates complaints and inspects existing electrical systems and appliances to determine if hazardous or illegal conditions are present.</i></li><li><i style="color: inherit; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">This is not an exhaustive or all-inclusive list of responsibilities, skills, duties or functions associated with the job. </i><br><br>Applicants must meet <strong><u>one </u></strong>of the following pathways consistent with OAR 918-281-0020: <br><br><strong><u>Direct EI Examination</u></strong><ul><li data-pasted="true">Must possess current journeyman status in the applicable electrical license classification. </li><li>Must meet eligibility requirements established under OAR 918-281-0020 to apply for and take the Electrical Inspector (EI) examination without supervisor endorsement. </li></ul><strong>OR</strong><br><strong> </strong><br><strong><u>Practicum</u></strong><ul><li data-pasted="true">Must possess current journeyman status in the applicable electrical license classification. </li><li>Must have a minimum of two (2) years of documented experience at the journeyman level. </li><li>Must be approved for and successfully pass the Code Administrator Examination (CAE), as required under OAR 918-281-0020. </li><li>Must successfully complete an approved Electrical Specialty Inspector (SEI) training program and pass the associated examination. </li><li>Must meet all eligibility requirements under OAR 918-281-0020 to apply for and take the Electrical Inspector (EI) examination.</li></ul><strong><u>Required</u></strong><ul style="padding: 0px 0px 0px 40px;
