Settle into one of our spacious accommodations – 80 percent with ocean views – and fill your days with water sports, relaxing pool time and exotic dining experiences.<br><br><strong>About The Role<br><br></strong>At Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla, the Director of Housekeeping is responsible for overseeing a large resort housekeeping operation with a variety of room types, residences and villas. This position requires an eye for detail, the ability to organize and execute a strategic plan, ensure timeliness, recognize problems and offer practical, effective solutions and communicate well with other departments.<br><br><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong><ul><li> Manage the staff of the Housekeeping Department. Interview, train and schedule the staff. Conduct Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed. Ensure communications and follow-up on any problems, guest requests or special requirements.</li><li> Establish detailed cleaning and preventive maintenance programs to ensure appearance and life of all furniture, fixtures and equipment. Set and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Assign staff to complete the needed activities for the day.</li><li> Resolve customer complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Coordinates the housekeeping needs of Residence owners. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.</li><li> Assure the financial goals of the department are being met. Monitors and controls labor expense and other divisional expenses such as Uniforms, Linen, Guest Supplies, Cleaning Supplies and Contract Services. Establishes and maintains accurate inventory records. Participate in periodic Linen, Uniform and Supplies Inventories. Recommend appropriate actions passed on results of inventory. Assure that equipment is properly maintained. Prepare annual budget for labor and operating expense.
