The Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.

The Job

We’re seeking a creative and collaborative social expert to support a communications team that is advancing awareness of and fostering conversation around the unique benefits and proximity to culture that staying on Airbnb offers. The Consumer & Entertainment Social Media Manager will be responsible for informing and executing social programming rooted in pop culture that supports overarching communications goals and campaigns across TikTok, Instagram and Twitter/X. The ideal candidate is curious, engaged, strategic, positive, and detail- and solution-oriented. The world and thus our industry is always changing, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable with and excited by pivoting, experimenting and innovating as applicable as priorities and social platforms evolve.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting in the development and execution of high visibility, high impact social and influencer strategies to achieve global communications goals across TikTok, Instagram and Twitter/X
  • Maintains a constant and detailed understanding of TikTok, Instagram and associated platform nuances to inform social strategies.
  • Participates in social brainstorms, contributes to social content direction, and assists with identifying relevant social amplifiers for brand campaigns.
  • Manages testing and publishing of social assets to TikTok, Instagram and Twitter/X
  • Supports cross-channel community engagement strategies.
  • Assists in social listening efforts on TikTok, Instagram and Twitter/X, identifying opportunities where the brand can play a meaningful role.
  • Assists with monitoring, tracking and reporting for social campaigns.

Requirements

  • 5-6 years experience in social media
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in TikTok and Instagram specifically
  • Experience supporting social strategies in the celebrity, entertainment, and film spaces.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A passion for pop culture and trends
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with social listening and measurement tools like Sprinklr

Pay Rate Range: $48.57-$57.14/hour.
