<p><h2>Job Description </h2><p>This post is Fixed Term to 28/06/2026. </p> <p>As this post is term-time, part-time post the salary will be pro-rata to the hours worked. (Hourly rate is £13.64). The work pattern will be 7 hours per day on Monday and Tuesday. </p> <p>West Dunbartonshire Council is looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and committed to supporting school improvement and providing high quality support to teaching staff, in line with key Council priorities or inclusion and raising the aspirations, achievements and attainment for all students. </p><h2>Requirements </h2><p>This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found <a >here </a>.<br>Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council. </p><h2>Responsibilities </h2><p>The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975. </p> <p>Applicants are, therefore, not statutorily entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are \"spent\" under the provisions of the Act.
