**This position is based in Naples, FL. Remote optional for the right candidate. If remote, travel required to Naples headquarters quarterly for 1 week. Central or East Coast candidates only**

The Medical Education department based in Naples, Florida is made up of over 20 physicians, physician assistants and other healthcare professionals.  Arthrex is actively searching for a Digital Experience Designer II to join the Medical Education team. The successful candidate will work alongside a department of expert orthopedic healthcare professionals, world class faculty, and product management.

 

Main Objective:  

The Digital Experience Designer is a key member of the Medical Education Technology division, responsible for designing user interfaces and graphic elements that enhance digital learning experiences and programs. This role will create intuitive, engaging, and accessible designs that support Arthrex Medical Education Technology initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational brand and design standards. 

 

Working closely with leadership from Medical Education and Marketing UX design, the Digital Experience Designer develops cohesive branding and designs user-friendly interfaces for digital learning platforms, virtual training tools, and interactive media. By leveraging design systems, rapid prototyping, and agile workflows, the Digital Experience Designer ensures that these digital assets meet high usability, accessibility, and visual impact standards. 

 

Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, UX research, and continuous iteration, this role plays a pivotal part in enhancing the overall learning experience for both internal and external audiences. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Execute multi-platform design projects across digital education programs. 
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the corporate design system. 
  • Execute complex UX/UI workflows and create interactive prototypes. 
  • Conduct A/B testing, user research, and data-driven optimizations. 
  • Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and usability in all designs. 
  • Align design execution with business and learning objectives. 
  • Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

 

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong UX/UI and branding design expertise. 
  • Experience working with design systems and digital prototyping tools. 
  • Proficiency in using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement designs. 
  • Ability to optimize design for accessibility and responsiveness. 

 

Experience and Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI or related field. 
  • Technical certifications or professional development related to Figma, Webflow, or similar preferred. 
  • 3 years in UX/UI design. 
  • Figma experience required. 
  • Experience using Webflow preferred.  

 

Reasoning Ability: 

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
