Amazon One Medical (AOM) is passionately working to build a best-in-class healthcare product designed to make high-quality healthcare easy to access. We own Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) within AOM, which represents the comprehensive financial lifecycle that manages patient accounts from their initial healthcare service request/appointment booking through to the final payment settlement. This process is fundamental to AOM's financial stability and operational efficiency, allowing us to focus primarily on delivering quality patient care.

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to support RCM to build and manage our financial analytics within AOM, including WBRs, MBRs and dashboards. They will work with BIEs to create self-serve analytics tools and build reporting solutions. This role will partner closely with RCM, Healthcare Finance Operations Analytics, Health Storefront Tech central Data Engineering, and OM Operations.

Key job responsibilities

You will support RCM's core metrics and reporting data —providing the critical data foundation for business reviews, operational insights, and dashboards that inform decisions through automated solutions.
  • Build reporting solutions for RCM; Analyze AOM financial performance
  • Analyze reports and determine appropriate implementation strategies.
  • Support BIEs to migrate legacy Tableau reports into modern AWS QuickSight solutions.
  • Research and identify new opportunities for AOM to improve collections
  • Develop complex queries for ad hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.
  • Interface with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform user acceptance testing, and deliver reporting solutions that drive key business decisions.
  • Develop and automate complex SQL queries and statistical analyses to identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and surface opportunities for process optimization.
  • Own the design and development of metrics that measure returns economics, process efficiency, and patient impacts while ensuring data accuracy through validation.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
  • 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
  • Experience working with healthcare data or on a revenue cycle team for a healthcare organization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience partnering with executive-level leaders to identifying and solving business issues
