(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Responsible for cultivating and managing high-impact partnerships with corporate, nonprofit, and government organizations to advance the academic, research, and community engagement within the assigned department or college. Enhances the department or college's market efficacy by aligning strategic objectives with initiatives that boost student engagement. Advises leadership, student organizations, and centers on partnership development, event strategies, and business engagement initiatives that measurably improve student experiences and retention.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with corporate, nonprofit, grant, and government stakeholders to support academic, research, and community engagement goals.
2. Researches and benchmarks the college/department against peer institutions, evaluating strategic initiatives, partnerships, funding, and operational effectiveness.
3. Analyzes trends to align department strategies with institutional goals, enhance competitiveness, and drive long-term growth and impact.
4. Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership, faculty, staff, student organizations, alumni, and centers on partnership development, event strategies, and business engagement initiatives.
5. Develop, manage, and assess events and programs that foster student engagement with external partners, ensuring alignment with department or college goals and measuring impact on student experiences and retention.
6. Design and implement partnership initiatives providing meaningful student opportunities, including internships, research projects, and community engagement, to improve student retention.
7. Oversee budgets for partnership initiatives and ensure efficient resource use to support engagement goals
8. Create and oversee marketing materials and communication strategies for partnership initiatives, working with marketing teams to promote partnerships and events effectively.
9. Foster relationships to enhance community engagement and visibility, creating collaboration opportunities with external organizations.
10. May partner with University Advancement to develop engagement opportunities, alumni events, and activities that strengthen connections and support strategic initiatives.
11. Serve as the primary point of contact for student career resources, managing communications and providing guidance on career path exploration.
12. Supervise and/or lead assigned staff and student assistants, ensuring effective execution off initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field

Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license

Required Experience
Seven (7) years of experience in related functions

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification to manage complex initiatives and deliver results efficiently and effectively

Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Preferred Experience
Proven ability to manage and grow relationships with stakeholders
Experience in higher education, nonprofit, or corporate environments

Proposed Salary

The budgeted salary range is $90,240 - $96,000. Offers are based on relevant experience. Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
