In this role, you will partner with product managers, business teams, and other Data Science & Engineering colleagues to design metrics, develop analytic tools, and perform analyses that power content media operations at scale. Your analytical insights will help steer global media production strategy, identify innovations that drive scale economies and greater creative storytelling across our diverse content slate, and support the delivery of new content types on Netflix.</span></p><p></p><p>As a Senior Analytics Engineer in this space, you will:</p><ul><li><p><span>Be a strategic partner for Content & Business Product PMs and Content Operations teams, developing and executing new measurement frameworks, and identifying analytic opportunities to assess the effectiveness and business impact of product solutions supporting media production workflows</span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive the direction of your work, developing solutions that span from scrappy code and prototype tools to high-visibility dashboards and analyses for Business and Product leadership </span></p></li><li><p><span>Establish and maintain strong partnerships with a variety of business, product, and data-oriented stakeholders, working directly with them to introduce and influence data-informed ways of working</span></p></li><li><p><span>Present your analytical methodology and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical partners</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with other Analytics Engineers & Data Engineers to source data from new systems, strengthen our foundational data models, and accelerate data analysis</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>About you</p><ul><li><p><span>8+ years of demonstrated experience with data wrangling, data analysis, metric visualization, and data storytelling to both technical and non-technical product and business stakeholders</span></p></li><li><p><span>An expert in the standard tech stack (i.e., SQL, Python) and intuitive dashboard/visualization design using common data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau, Plotly, Streamlit)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Exceptional communication and collaboration skills coupled with strong business acumen</span></p></li><li><p><span>Comfortable operating in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment; able to take ownership and thrive with minimal oversight and process</span></p></li><li><p><span>You connect the dots across stakeholder needs and independently drive projects forward</span></p></li><li><p><span>A self-starter with a learning mindset who is exceptionally curious – eagerly diving into new spaces and bringing informed ideas to the table</span></p></li><li><p><span>You are known for developing and deepening strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range.
