Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Alteryx Developer to join the Data & Analytics team.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing, optimizing, and maintaining Alteryx workflows to support enterprise data integration, automation, reporting, and analytics initiatives. The candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets, multiple data sources, and cross-functional business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Alteryx workflows.
  • Build automated ETL/ELT processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Integrate data from SQL databases, cloud platforms, APIs, Excel, and other enterprise systems.
  • Optimize existing Alteryx workflows for performance and maintainability.
  • Develop reusable macros and analytic applications within Alteryx.
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, profiling, and quality checks.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Analytics teams to gather business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot workflow failures and production issues.
  • Schedule and monitor workflows using Alteryx Server/Scheduler.
  • Create technical documentation and maintain workflow standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for development and governance.
  • Support reporting and dashboard initiatives by preparing clean, reliable datasets.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer.
  • Experience with Alteryx Server administration, publishing, scheduling, and workflow management.
  • Strong SQL development skills.
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
  • Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data integration.
  • Experience working with APIs, CSV, Excel, XML, and JSON data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience using Git or other version control tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure Data Platform.
  • Knowledge of Python or R within Alteryx.
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Alteryx Designer Advanced or Expert Certification is preferred.
  • Experience supporting enterprise analytics or business intelligence initiatives.

Nice to Have

  • Retail or eCommerce industry experience.
  • Experience working with customer, sales, inventory, or supply chain data.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices for analytics solutions.
