Employees work on-site at Denver International Airport 3 days a week and off-site as needed. Employee parking will be provided at DEN. </li><li>Standard Monday through Friday business hours to make a 40 hour work week. </li><li>All scheduling is subject to adjustment and is based on operational needs. <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>What You'll Do<br><br></strong>In this role, your responsibilities will include:<br><br><ul><li> Administers assigned airport revenue programs which need subject matter expertise. </li><li>Ensure programs operate in compliance with airport objectives, relevant laws, rules, and regulations. </li><li>Schedules, facilitates and completes physical annual inspections of assigned leased space which includes follow up and ensures billing is accurate. </li><li>Establishes and implements program objectives; develops and modifies work plans; implements standards; sets priorities; and ensures programs operate in conformance with established standards and requirements, conduct needs assessment and program evaluation. </li><li>Continuously looks for ways to create and enhance revenue sources. </li><li>Identifies new revenue opportunities and cost reduction opportunities for existing programs. </li><li>Develops input for policies and identifies stakeholders necessary for program changes, including internal and external groups. </li><li>Creates and oversees committees to explore these opportunities and identifies group goals and deliverables. </li><li>Creates requests for proposals, negotiates and manages contracts ensures satisfactory contractor performance, critically reviews, and corrects work product of vendors and assigned staff. Administers financial operations within budget limits. </li><li>Manage, negotiate, and start billing for tenants. </li><li>Modifies and develops innovative programs as needed; resolves complex problems that cross-functional and administrative boundaries; acts as program spokesperson, building and supporting relationships with agencies and the community to improve program decisions in controversial areas. </li><li>Recommends the airport’s position on pertinent business issues. </li><li>Utilizes advanced skills to evaluate program areas; conducts program research and related work where technical expertise is necessary. </li><li> Aids in the development and implementation of best management practices and shows the market share of the program for the airport industry and strategically evaluates options for the best outcome. </li><li>Tracks program performance metrics and creates models and reports tracking trends and patterns. </li><li>Designs and implements quality management standards for programs, determining the technical significance of collected data and needed corrective action, and recommends remedial action. </li><li>Identifies operational inefficiencies and opportunities to improve service delivery to the traveling public and other customers. </li><li>Coordinates with contractors, airlines, and other internal and external stakeholders on airport projects affecting operations. </li><li> Identifies alternatives to ensure continuity of business during interruptions of services. </li><li>Provides input for changes to airport policies and procedures for revenue program areas. Responsible for establishing and following standard operating procedures for program areas. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li><li>Employees may be re-deployed to work in other capacities in their own agencies or in other City agencies to support core functions of the City during a City-wide emergency declared by the Mayor. No one position may not include all of the duties listed. However, the allocation of positions will be determined by the amount of time spent in performing the essential duties listed above. <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>What You'll Offer<br><br></strong>Our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics:<br><br><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, build professional working relationships, and collaborate productively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. </li><li>Proven capability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and oversee a diverse portfolio. </li><li>Experience or transferable skills related to property or lease management, including space inspections, monitoring lease compliance, coordinating billing activities, and administering contracts without direct supervisory responsibilities. </li><li>Ability to manage lease agreements throughout their lifecycle, including initiation, coordination of approvals, execution, enforcement of terms, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. </li><li>Proficiency with standard business tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Sute, Excel, and PropWorks or the ability to learn these systems. <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Minimum Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. </li><li>Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of professional experience conducting moderately complex analysis on a variety of issues as needed in retail, food and beverage, commercial property, car rental, parking and ground transportation businesses, airline affairs, or a related industry. </li><li>Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education. A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements. </li><li>License/Certifications: Requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application. Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment. <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>FBI Background Check <br><br></strong>FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN). Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment. By position, a pre-employment physical/drug test may be required.<br><br><strong>Shift Work, Snow Duties, and Emergency Incidents <br><br></strong>Denver International Airport is a 24/7/365 team operation.
