This role plays a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy and executing proper data handling procedures in compliance with industry regulations.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li><b>Sorting & Evaluation:</b> Sort and evaluate electronic equipment (e.g., CPUs, GPUs, RAM, HDDs, SSDs, mobile devices).</li> <li><b>Record Management:</b> Maintain accurate records of materials using scan guns and manual entry systems.</li> <li><b>Testing & Diagnosis:</b> Conduct thorough testing of electronic components and sub-assemblies.</li> <li><b>Data Erasure:</b> Perform data erasure following standardized protocols, ensuring 0 data escapes.</li> <li><b>De-manufacturing:</b> Disassemble (harvest) electronic equipment into components as per industry guidelines.</li> <li><b>Inventory Control:</b> Ensure precise inventory tracking and management within the workspace.</li> <li><b>Quality & Safety Compliance:</b> Maintain a clean, hazard-free working environment and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.</li> <li><b>Workflow Efficiency:</b> Coordinate with team members for smooth workflow transitions.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><b>Experience</b></p> <ul> <li>At least 2 years of professional experience in IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), electronics recycling, or a related field.</li> <li>Familiarity with testing tools and diagnostic software for electronic equipment is required.</li> </ul> <p><b>Knowledge & Skills:</b></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of IT hardware components, including CPUs, memory, and storage devices.</li> <li>Understanding of data erasure standards and practices (e.g., NIST 800-88, ISO 27001).</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li> <li>Proficiency in using inventory management software.</li> <li>Basic arithmetic and data entry proficiency (40 WPM typing speed).</li> <li>Experience working with a variety of relevant tools (multimeter, soldering iron, wire cutters, precision tools, tweezers, ESD wrist straps, etc.).</li> </ul> <p><b>Physical Requirements:</b></p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift.</li> <li>Will ingness to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse environments.</li> <li>Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends when required.</li> </ul> <p><b>Education & Certifications:</b></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li> <li>IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) are preferred.</li> <li>Training or certification in Lean is highly desirable.</li> </ul> <p><b>EEO – Equal Employment Opportunity</b></p> <p>The Company is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, creed, color, sex, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, gender, ethnicity, religion, national origin, ancestry, nationality, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, genetic information, or on any other basis prohibited by law (except where an attribute is a bona fide occupational qualification).</p></div> #J-18808-Ljbffr Salary: USD 36000 - 60000 per year
